Heat Lagos was born out of years of teaching, training and a genuine love for what movement can do to a person - not just physically, but in the way they carry themselves, the way they feel in their own skin, the way they come to know themselves a little better.
We opened this studio because we believe the right space and the right guidance can genuinely shift something in a person.
Every class at Heat Lagos is held in our infrared-heated studio, taught by experienced, passionate teachers who care about more than just getting you through the hour. We are here to help you move better, feel stronger and become more aware of your body and what it's telling you. That kind of awareness has a way of reaching far beyond the mat.

A few things worth knowing.
What to bring
- A water bottle. We recommend arriving well hydrated
- Comfortable, lightweight clothes you can move and sweat in
- A towel to put over your mat for hygienic purposes. We will offer rental towels and towels for sale from July 1
- That's it. We have mats, props, and all the equipment you need
Good to know
- The studio is heated to 30-32°C for most classes
- We provide small face towels for class for free
- No locker rooms or showers, but a bathroom is available for changing
- Arrive no later than 5 minutes before class. Coming 15 minutes early lets you settle, meet us, and find your spot
- The studio doors close when class starts, so please be on time

An infrared heated class uses radiant heat panels that warm the body directly rather than blowing hot air around the room. The studio sits at around 30°C, which supports a strong, focused practice with lower humidity than traditional hot yoga.
Traditional hot yoga is usually heated to 40°C or more with forced air. Our infrared studio runs at around 30°C, which feels gentler and is easier to breathe in, while still warming muscles deeply for movement and recovery.
Around 30°C, warm enough to feel the heat working through the muscles, but not as intense as traditional hot yoga rooms.
No. We welcome complete beginners alongside experienced students. Our teachers offer options for every level inside each class, so you can start where you are and progress over time.
Start with Heat Pilates, Heat Sculpt or Heat Power. Pilates builds deep core and stabiliser strength, Sculpt adds weights and resistance for a full-body session, and Power is a physically demanding heated yoga.
Heat Mobility, Heat Recovery and Heat Yin are the best place to start. They are slower, gentler, and built around joint work, breath and stillness. Ideal after surfing, running, gym training, or a stressful week.
Yes. Every class at Heat Lagos is taught in English. We are built for the international community living in and visiting the Algarve.
Yes. We offer single drop-ins, a 7-day Vacation Week pass, and a 2-week Intro Offer. All make it easy to join while you are visiting Lagos, Luz, Burgau or Portimão.
